My mate use Blender and He have option in Cycles to ignore objects for camera, but those are still interact with the scene overall (which is super cool for small spaces). To add a preset to the current SketchUp scene, simply drag and drop a preset material from the Library into the Asset Editors Material List. The material library is accessed by expanding the Asset Editor with the Material Editor tab open. Use the Subdivs parameter below to control the quality of glossy reflections. A value of 0.0 means perfect mirror-like reflection higher values produce blurry or glossy reflections. My problem is that my mirror material (or shiny materials like chrome in general) doesnt seem reflect the SketchUp sun at all. V-Ray for SketchUp includes an extensive library of ready-to-use materials. Reflection Roughness Available when the Surface control option is set to Use Roughness.
